This was followed by the stomping “Whatever I Do (Wherever I go) another huge chart success, and the first Top 5 hit for Hit Factory legends – Stock Aitken and Waterman.
The hits kept coming, and Hazell’s powerhouse vocals soon made her a club favourite in the UK, across Europe and the USA where she toured constantly,
gaining her the title of the undisputed Queen of HiNRG.
“They Say Its Gonna Rain” topped the South African charts for an astonishing 18 weeks, where the song remains an anthem to this day.
Hazell’s popularity in clubs, and 80’s Retro festivals continues – She is a guaranteed crowd pleaser and consummate professional.
Hazell Dean is proud of her 35+ year involvement with Pride events across the globe, and is a true LGBT ally. She has been included in the Pride power list 2020.
