KYM MAZELLE

 

 

Kym Mazelle is an American dance-pop, Hi-NRG, soul and house singer born in Indiana, USA and was brought up on the same street as the famous Jackson family!

Her career started in Chicago working with producer Marshall Jefferson on the 1987 track “Taste My Love”, but it wasn’t until she teamed up with Dr Robert, lead singer from the British band The Blow Monkeys on the track “Wait”, that she achieved chart success. The song was a Top 10 hit and Kym was suddenly a household name, scoring hits like “Love Strain”, “Was That All It Was” and the worldwide hit “Missing You”, when she teamed up with Soul II Soul

.Kym is perhaps best known as the singer of the cover version of “Young Hearts Run Free” from the Baz Luhrman film Romeo and Juliet. Keeping in the public eye with her constant touring, Kym is also a favourite on UK Reality shows, appearing on ‘Celebrity Masterchef’ and ‘Celebrity Fit Club’.
